Ford, Buick, Reo and Maxwell-Briscoe became the Big Four in the automobile industry, having attained by 1908 an annual production in excess of 8,000 vehicles. In 1923 the Maxwell automobile, Model 25, had a 30 horespower, four-cyclinder engine and a price tag of $885! This is a vintage item that is about 40 to 55 years old. The original volume/quantity of the fluid ounces may have shrunken due to time, evaporation, or leakage. The original aroma scent may have degraded, concentrated, time-altered, or distorted as well.
